If you're wondering what the title means, I can say I'm finally done with using normal razors. Any man will tell you that once in a while, or often, he will get nicks & cuts on his face. Alternative to shaving, theres only plucking/waxing which is painful as hell or using more feminine products such as:
That happened in 2009 and I was helping my friend out with a case study, No way I'm going back to that! I'm too manly for it LOL
So the question is, what is my solution facing the main problem of nicks and cuts?
I was invited to the launch of the Philips S9000 Shaver at PJ Hilton about 2 weeks back, to witness the unveiling of the latest shaver known to men! I met up with Isaac, Mike Yip, Suresh & Soon Joe for a good catching up session and into the launch we went!

What's interesting about the shaver is that Philips partnered up with pioneering commercial space travel experts, XCOR Space Expeditions to test the Philips S9000 Shaver in a Zero-G Environment (Space environment) to test if men can even get a close shave in space! And the results is that the Philips S9000 shaver is the most advance shaver yet which delivers the closest shave anywhere without compromising on comfort control or choice
It is also able to tackle hard to reach areas where hairs can grow in different directions, as they have included technologies such as the unique contour detect technology and V-Track Precision blades to deliver the closest possible shave to men. (I'll explain more on the unique contour detect technology further down this post)
As I was heading back after the event ended, Philips Malaysia & Rantau PR were gracious enough to give me the Series S9000 Shaver! and whats better? They gave me the highest range of all!
So first up, I got the S9000 Wet & Dry Shaver. The shaver comes with a SmartClean Pro shaving hub, SmartClick beard trimmer and a pouch. What's cool about this is that it is fully washable and the shaving hub is awesome as it cleans, dries, charges and lubricates the shaver

This is the unique contour technology on the S9000 shaver. You see that I can actually flex the angle of the shaving heads with my finger? It is able to flex in eight different directions to detect and follow every contour of the face to get up to 20% more hairs in a single pass
The shaving head is easily removable and easy to clean
So to review the product, I didn't shave my facial hair for 2 weeks, that's why this review is out so late haha!

Looks pretty pathetic, I guess its Asian genes that we can't grow great moustaches or beards, We ain't Mortdecai where we can pull off a full Moustache and Gwyneth Paltrow could even give in to him keeping it in the movie

Since I already tried out with the dry shaving at the event itself, I decided to use shaving foam this time round to test out the shaver. Shaving foam. What I like about shaving foam is that it acts as a lubricant to the razor, which makes it smoother when I'm shaving

I'm really pleased with this shaver as definitely, its the best shaver I have so far in my life! If you have the budget and are looking for an electronic shaver, Do give the S9000 a go as it definitely is worth the money!
