Great news to all em people who enjoy artsy performances! The Ballet West from UK is coming here to perform the ever timeless Swan Lake! This is definitely going to be an epic performance as it is the first time in Malaysia where the Full UK cast will be performing for the full length ballet!
The performance will be held at the Genting International Showroom for six days from 24th August to 1st September 2018. So get ready to see swirling white tutus, dazzling pas de deux, swans dancing beside a moonlit lake with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s stirring music and entrancing love story.
First premiered in 1877 at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Swan Lake is a mythical love story that combines magic, love and tragedy. The Dance Company redefines this classic with a new vigour and unparalleled passion. With mesmerising music by renowned composer Tchaikovsky, this classic is a must-see whether you are an aficionado or a newcomer to ballet.
The full cast of dancers from Ballet West International Touring Company in partnership with The Dance Company will take the stage for this powerful and moving production, which is narrated in four acts. Performing for the first time in Southeast Asia, the company had previously toured Europe and China with sold-out performances in over 40 cities.
