First and foremost, sorry for the lack of updates as I've been SUPPERRRRR busy with work. Plenty of projects coming in and well, its been pretty taxing. Meeting clients, overtime, etc etc and yeah I'm just hoping by Raya it'll be better. (who wants to be so busy during the holidays yeah?)
On the 2nd day in Cebu, we decided to take a boat ride out to Bohol. Bohol is an Island situated 2 hours away from Cebu city. We booked Weesam express (550 pesos per person return tix) which was pretty reasonable to Tagbilaran Port at Bohol
Bohol is known for whale & dolphin watching, but sadly we weren't in time for that :(
After the 2 hour ride, we took a cab from Tagbilaran to Panglao Island (about 30 minutes from Tagbilaran) which is the most famous place for Bohol with its spectacular beaches! If you ever head there, make sure you haggle the price of the cab as you can bring it down to as low as 300 pesos one way. We were dumb and we paid 600 pesos one way =( *blardy rip off*
But well as we reached the beach, we just spent our day away chilling and eating on the nice clean sand and crystal clear waters

About 2 weeks back, I managed to head over to Cebu, Philippines! This is my 2nd trip to the Philippines and it was a different adventure totally! I headed over there with both my sisters this time *Yay Family Reunion* as Audrey was back from Ireland, and Sonya came from Sabah.
If you're wondering why I'm heading to Philippines again, its part of winning the Cebu Pacific Airlines Juan Blogger contest which gives me 4 trips to the Philippines and becoming the Cebu Pacific Airways Blogger Ambassador =)
As for this trip, my flights were sponsored by Cebu Pacific Airways, Accommodation by Agoda.com and Shopping Money by Visa =)
We caught an early flight to Cebu which we arrived there about 2am in the morning. Agoda was gracious enough for recommending me a hotel for the first night which was Marco Polo hotel. And after a good 8 hours of rest, we headed over to the next hotel we're staying at which was The Marriott *Chewahhh both also 5 star*
Check out the room =D
Since we were staying here for 3 days 2 nights, we decided that as for the 1st day, we would go sightseeing and shopping around Cebu Area. Marriott Hotel is situated right next to Ayala shopping mall, so it was quite an ease to go there and buy stuff. Of course we headed over to SM Cebu for more cheap bargains.
As for sight seeing, we headed over to a few places, starting at Fort San Pedro. A really old triangular fort with loads of canons. we paid about 200 Pesos per person to enter, and it was beautiful. I love how all these old architectural buildings just stand after the hundreds of years that pass.
Check out the fort:

I'm holding a piece of the fort =D
Mario Jump!
Outside the fort we found one of those love heart trees, so yeah the sisters just had to do this
After the fort, we walked over to Magellans cross, which is a cross made out of Tindalo Wood planted on April 21, 1521. That's how old it is!

We headed out for Filipino street food, found one of those bbq-ing shacks and just ate there like the locals! of course my skin colour could blend in with the rest =)
Choose what you want to be satay-ed!
Street food is always the best way to know how the locals eat :)

lazing my day away
Well that's about it for my Cebu trip. It was definitely worth it as a vacation was all I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle at home. I can't wait for my next trip there, but I guess it'll only be during the year end as it is currently rainy season =(
I wanna personally thank Michelle from Cebu Pacific Airlines for organizing everything I needed, Joy from Cebu Pacific Airlines for telling me the great places to go to & Carolyn from Visa who has been providing me the Muullahhh for my trip. I also want to thank Cebu Pacific Air, Agoda & Visa for sponsoring everything for my trip! :)
Thanks for reading and I'll be updating as soon as I can!
