Marriage is a spectacular event where 2 hearts are bonded into 1. Closing up the year 2012, Jolyn & Eng Seng finally had their wedding ceremony after the long await.
Eileen & I took a drive up to Bukit Mertajam, Penang where they stayed and they graciously allowed us to stay at their boutique hotel, PICE Hotel. Its a cozy place to stay, hassle free from the busy-ness of Penang. Definitely I'll recommend it if you to stay there if you were in Bukit Mertajam. There's also such thing as honeymoon suites there =P
You can check out Pice Hotel here: https://www.facebook.com/PICEhotel?fref=ts
Anyway ain't going away from the main topic, Jolyn & Eng Seng's wedding was much different compared to any other wedding I've been to. Its the combination of a Christian & Traditional Chinese Wedding with loads of twists and turns in it
For this post, I'll just be writing on the ROM and the Wedding Dinner
For the ROM, it was a ceremony at the rooftop of their hotel itself. Tell me now how many people are actually able to do that? =) A simple ceremony was held with a priest and jeng jeng jeng, they're married!
On the rooftop
The Wedding Cake
Eng Seng prepped up!
The beautiful Jolyn Goh
Look how sweet they are =)
The priest giving a short speech
Exchanging of vows
The Family photo
and of course, with the rest of us =)
As night came, The dinner was held at a hall nearby, with splendid food by Eng Seng's company. Everyone was all dolled up seeing the bride and groom at their finest! Most of the jokes by the emcee were in Hokkien which i didn't understand, but well its always nice to be at a wedding dinner =)
Eileen & I ready for the dinner
Myself with Jolyn & Eng Seng
Eileen, Myself, Jackie & Annie with the newly weds
Well to finish up this post, I just want to wish you both Jolyn & Eng Seng abundance of happiness, wealth and prosperity upon your new family! Love you both to bits!
