Surfers and beach loving people unite! As something spectacular is going to happen this year!
On November 30th till the December 2nd, There is going to be the Rip Curl Pro Terengganu happening at Batu Burok Beach! This competition will bring in Surfers from around the world to challenge the big waves at Batu Burok!
I was able to get a glimpse of it at the Rip Curl Pro Press Conference at 1 Utama earlier this week, and definitely it was an eye catcher up to! As for the start of the press conference, It was presented by host/emcee Joey G & Rip Curl decided to show its lineup of apparels which are available in stores nationwide!

Exciting isn't it? all i can say is that the lineup is beautiful and definitely i'm gonna be getting a pair of surf shorts soon!
Heading on with the press conference, The VIPS of the press conference enlightened the press about what Rip Curl is trying to accomplish during the Rip Curl Pro Terengganu and answered the key questions of the Media.
The highlights for Rip Curl Pro Terengganu are:
Rip Curl Malaysia is proud to be the first brand to sponsor a 6-star rated ASC (Asian Surfing Championship) surfing competition with the total prize money of RM36,500!
And there'll be other specialty awards such as "Best Malaysian Surfer" & "Best Surfer Wipeout". Other than that, There'll be RM22,500 worth of Rip Curl Products to be given to the finalist
There'll be 5 surfing categories at the competition which are:
1. Men's
2. Women's
3. Longboard
4. Masters
5. Skateboard Slalom Race
One amazing thing about this years competition that it is a 6 star event which is the 2nd highest ranking in surfing competitions. and there'll be fun-filled yet educational activities that are planned for the public with the aim to educate people about surfing.

Other than that, 3 Malaysian surfers sealed the deal with Rip Curl Malaysia as Official Riders!
