Watami Pavilion Food Review

Photobucket

Watami is a casual dining Japanese restaurant located at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur with its fusion of the traditional Japanese cuisine & modern Japanese cuisine. Courtesy of Watami & Annie, I was able to attend the food review for its dinner sets. The Dinner set that we ordered was a dinner set for 4 which comprised of a lot of food and is priced at RM200.

The ambience in the restaurant is very cozy and comfortable with light Japanese Music playing. The restaurant is also targeting families to come to dine in by offering some fusions such as Onion Rings & bite size food for children.

As for the night, Lets head to the photos of the food:

For the drinks, We had 4 different fusions of Lime Mixed drinks.
Personal opinion: The one with Coca-cola taste the best for me

Photobucket
As for starters, Its the teriyaki chicken salad!
Personal opinion: Its a superb mix and its really tasty as Watami produces their own sesame dressing. The texture of the dressing is thick and its flavour is tremendous!

Photobucket
Mixed Shashimi
Personal opinion: Its served cold at the right temperature & in thick cuts.

Photobucket
Wafu Hitokuchi Steak.
Personal opinion: Its tasty & cooked till medium well which makes it not chewy and still juicy

Photobucket
Tempura Moriawase. Deep fried prawns & vegetables in tempura batter.
Personal opinion: The Tempura was crispy & tastes well

Photobucket
Wafu Pizza.
Personal opinion: its one of the best pizza's I've tasted in my life. Rich in flavour with a thin crust. Just how I like it. Give it a try!

Photobucket
Tokusan Sushi Moriawase. A mixture of sushi such as salmon, tuna, eggs and more.
Personal opinion: Sushi is fresh but the rice was squeezed too tight together

Photobucket
Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe. A hot pot prepared in front of your eyes.
Personal opinion: a little too salty for normal people. As for me I love the salt!

Photobucket
A plate of Udon to go with the Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe
Personal opinion: Its texture is soft enough and goes very well with  the Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe

Photobucket
Tokyo Gyudon. Beef Rice Bowl with Hot Spring Egg.
Personal opinion: Its flavourful and the dish compliments the flavours of others

Photobucket
Dessert, 4 flavours of Ice Cream, Vanilla, Chocolate, Matcha (Green Tea) & Coma (Sesame)
Personal opinion: The chocolate flavour was the richest, Green Tea 2nd while the Vanilla was not rich enough and Sesame didn't quite fit my liking.

Pretty much that's what you get for RM200. Personally, Its satisfying and its worth a try! So, why don't just visit Watami & grab a dinner set? its worth it & also you could get other ala carte orders to fit your likings!

As for the last pic, Its a camwhore shot with Jackie
