A hike to Broga Hill

Random much, Some of my high school mates with some other friends gathered to go for a hike. A hike to Broga Hill. its a 1.7km hike up and basically its all mud, rocks, sand and just a trail to lead us up. It was really awesome as We haven't done something like this in a long time and practically, It was a great trip to have everyone to watch the sunrise.

Aiming to see the sunrise, We took a 40 minute drive to the foot of Broga Hill. At about 5am, We started hiking up the hill. Everyone was carrying light but as for me, Had a bag full of camera gear and a tripod. Practically sweating the hell up this trip

It took us about 20 minutes to reach the first peak where some of the girls were practically exhausted from hiking up. After taking a short break, only a handful of us still had the will to go on to the next peak. After battling the terrain for another 20 minutes, we finally reached the 2nd peak.

Since it was a public holiday, There were plenty of people climbing up to the 3rd peak. as we saw the crowd, our hearts shrank as practically we will never get a good spot of viewing the sunrise from the 3rd peak. We settled down at the 2nd peak and just waited for the sun to rise.

After waiting till about 6.50 am, The sun was finally starting to rise and the skies were getting brighter by the minute

As our quest of seeing the sunrise has came true, We headed down to the 1st peak to meet up with the other group and hike down for awesome coconuts & drinks
