Fuoh! Another road trip! Cheers to that! I do honestly love road trips as you get to discover more on every trip. As for this time, I was blessed to be selected by Honda Malaysia to test out their new Civic, and the destination? Penang!
Honestly I was really excited about this, as I have loved the Civic since the first Fast and Furious came out. Remembering those scenes where they had 3 black civics with neon lights gave me chills! And as for this time we are testing out the new civic with a 5 car convoy, it felt like we were gonna own the roads!
A group of us gathered at Citta Mall where we were briefed by Honda about whats planned ahead for us. I was teamed up with Daus & Lan, where we got the new 1.5 VTEC Turbocharged Civic at the top of its range! It was going to be a short and simple weekend trip, while pushing the car to the limits.
First stop, we headed over to Tualang, for a makan session! I haven't been to Tualang before, and their specialty is fresh water prawns! Such a great way to start the trip!

So after being all fueled up with food, we started our drive towards Penang. We headed over to the Penang Stadium at Batu Kawan where we were able to test out the Civic's performance and safety features. It was pretty exciting as we were able to test the cars with some professional stunt men which allowed us to feel what the Civic is capable of

After a super awesome time of having fun testing out the cars, we then headed over to Penang Island where we took a scenic drive to the Penang Botanical Mansion at Balik Pulau. They rented the whole place for us where we could sit down and enjoy evening drinks and enjoy a buffet spread of local Penang Cuisine

Of course, after a long day of eating, playing and eating some more, Honda hooked us up with one of the best hotels in Penang, G Hotel Telawai. Each of us got our own private individual room which was pretty sweet

The following day and after a good night of rest, the Honda team brought us for something extreme! We headed over to the ESCAPE Park where we were able to try out some extreme sports! It features a lot of sky walking, jumping and activities which is pretty fun for anyone who loves adrenaline

All in all it was a great weekend getaway with the bloggers and the Honda team. It was well planned out and the food? Top notch! I would like to thank Honda Malaysia again for inviting me on this trip!
