Affordable Japanese Food @ Iku

Who loves Japanese food? Growing up with it and getting hooked on the Japanese trends in high school, yeah I'm definitely one of em!

I decided to pay a visit to a semi-new restaurant called Iku Japanese Fusion Restaurant at SS 15 with Eileen the other day. Located right opposite Asia Cafe, it's easy to find and I think it caters well to the students studying there

The environment is cozy as there were sofa seats and a cafe concept. The food is pretty affordable such as Handroll Temaki's from RM4 - RM8 and sets from RM6 - RM27.

Miso soup (RM2)

My opinion: pretty much just the soup, not much seaweed/tofu/condiments inside

Seafood Soup Udon (RM14.20)- served with Naruto Maki, Crabstick, Tempura Shrimp & Mussel

My opinion: A big portion of Udon noodles, and 1 piece of condiment each. Taste wise, its alright and definitely its greater in value compared to those sold at the big sushi chains.

Chicken Teriyaki Set (RM13.80)

My opinion: Pretty good portioning, Teriyaki was a lil salty for my taste, but overall still good

So if you're on a budget and you want to try it out, it wouldn't hurt your pocket that much :) They also have lunch sets and other things to offer!
