Continuing my previous post on Brisbane, I also managed to head to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. it is a wild life park located about a 20 minute ride from Brisbane City, and they have more than 100 Koala's in their sanctuary
Besides Koala's they have other animals such as the Tasmanian Devils, Kangaroos, Platypus and all other Australian Animals you can think of. A great thing about it is they have a schedule on whats going to happen, and well, we got to see a few shows of the animals
On the first stop of the program, We headed to the Lorikeet Feeding place where there was a live feeding session of Wild Lorikeets, we just put the food bowls up and, yeah they will just swarm down for some food
Soon after that, we headed to the kangaroo pens where we were able to feed, touch and disturb the kangaroos. LOL
Next on our lists, we headed to the sheep pen, where there was a live show on how sheep dogs gather sheep, and follow the commands of the owner. My god those dogs are damn clever, and the sheep, are dumb as fuck.
There was also a show & tell by the park rangers where we were able to get a glimpse of their favourite animals and how they deal with them in the park
Coming to the main point that we are coming to this park, The Koalas! These creatures sleep about 20 hours per day, and eats and poops the rest of the day. such gentle and cute creatures, and this time, I'm able to actually hold one! *yippee* i didn't get to do so the last time in Perth
