Commfest is a flagship event by the School of Communication in Taylor's University College that features two major events namely Mass Colympics and Media Carnival – under one banner. The festival aims to expose students as well as the public, to the field of Communication through expression of Arts and Sports. CommFest is jointly organized by proPassion Communications, a student Public Relations consultancy by Semester 6, Diploma in Communication students, and LIFE consisting of Semester 4, Diploma in Communication students.
This year, proPassion will be bringing you one of the most anticipated events in Taylor's University College, The MassColympics 2010! Mass Colympics is a School of Communication's annual sporting event that will give you an adrenaline rush through various fun & exciting activities and games. MassColympics 2010 will be the first major sporting event to be held on Taylor's new Lakeside Campus!
You can register for the Mass Colympics at their roadshows every Wednesday at Taylors Lakeside Campus from 12pm - 2pm and you can also purchase tickets there for the other activities.
The line up of activities for the Mass Colympics this year would be:
Fear Factor
- RM60 per team; 1 team consist of 3 pax
- Prizes are: RM800 cash, 3 months celebrity fitness membership, 3 Carlo Rino bags, 3 sets of Ajmal perfumes, 3 x Tropicana Life Cash Vouchers
Amazing Race
- RM80 per team; 1 team consist of 4 pax
-Prizes are: RM1000 cash, 3 months Celebrity Fitness membership, 4 Carlo Rino bags, 4 sets of Ajmal perfumes, 4 x Tropicana Life Cash Vouchers
Dodgeball
- RM80 per team; 1 team consist of 10 pax
- Prizes: 1st place: Gold Medals, 2 month Celebrity Fitness Membership for each member
2nd place: Silver Medals, 1 month Celebrity Fitness Membership for each member
3rd place: Bronze Medals, 3 weeks Celebrity Fitness Membership for each member
Other activities that will be inflatable games such as Gladiator, 'Spiderman' (sticky Fly Wall) & G-Force (Zorbing on Land, Water Tentative)
