Well i would like to watch this movie as I had encounters with owls since i was small since there were some at my kindergarden when i was little. So yeah I've been attached to owls as they're mysterious and also different in nature compared to plenty of birds. And i can bet that this movie would be great since its gonna premiere owls as the main characters in the story and as it is the same producer of Happy Feet, I can bet i wont be disappointed;)

So anyways here is the official trailer of the movie:

and this is the synopsis for the movie:

Acclaimed filmmaker Zack Snyder makes his animation debut with the fantasy family adventure “Guardians of Ga’Hoole,” based on the beloved books by Kathryn Lasky. The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father’s epic stories of the Guardians of Ga’Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father’s favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd’s jealousy has terrible consequences causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now it is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga’Hoole Soren’s only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.

So as for my favorite owl, It would definitely be the Barn owl!

Barn Owl

Barn Owls are known commonly all over the world as the Demon Owl, The Death Owl, Church Owl, Ghost Owl, and lots more names to it. It is also one of the endangered species of owls in the world at this point of time.

But well the reason its my favorite is of its appearances. Its masked like face shows mysteriousness as technically you can't really see through what its thinking. Being different compared to the rest of the owls. It has its uniqueness and it separates them by a generation from the other owls.

Think of it, don't the jabbawockeez resemble them?

Jabbawockeez
